In late November, Friends for Life Homecare heard that St. Rose food pantry was running low on supplies. The following week, team then decided to support the parish and start a food drive. The employees began collecting on Friday, November 20th and continued collecting into the month of December. As a result, a large sum of food and goods were donated from the community.

On the 11th of December, Tommy from St. Rose Parish, paid Friends for Life a visit. He then picked up the first round of food for the pantry. Tommy was pleased with the love and support from everyone that helped make this a success.

After donating, you can enter into a raffle. The winner of the raffle picks a senior to receive a full course meal. We wanted to give our community the opportunity to pay it forward.

Friends for Life Homecare will be collecting food all December Long. You can drop off your donation any day during the work week from 10am to 4pm. The office is located at 1045b Park Blvd. in Massapequa Park.   

Overall, we are so grateful for your help in feeding those who really need it this year.
