12 Jun McKenna Senior Center gets a BIG surprise!
On Wednesday, June 12th, Friends For Life gave back to the McKenna Senior Center. Friends for Life Homecare visits the McKenna Senior Center as often as they can, bringing them lunch, playing games and making crafts! Their smiling faces and amazing energy is what made this decision to give back, so easy.
For the past few months, the team hosted countless fundraisers to collect money for their local seniors. Friends For Life was able to surprise them with a BIG check (literally!) for a total of $3,500. The team and seniors are so thankful to all who helped make this generous donation possible.
June 12th was also our end of the year lunch that everyone loved. The McKenna Senior Center meets every Monday and Wednesday during the year, and takes a brief break for the summer. Thank’s to Broadway Gourmet, each senior was full of delicious lunch and deserts! The seniors were kind enough to give back as well. They made a hand written card for Amy Recco, thanking her for a fabulous and fun year. We are hoping all the ladies at the center have a great summer!
