Employees Help the Senior Community during COVID-19 Crisis

On Wednesday, March 26th, Friends for Life Homecare decided to spread love and support to their local senior community. (Without spreading the germs)!

The team delivered bags, filled with a number of goodies and essentials, to some of their local clients and aides. This was done in hopes to ease stress, due to social distancing and isolation at home, during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Some items included in the bags, were gift cards from Broadway Gourmet Caterers, and motivational cards from our Friends for Life family. Each bag also contained a personal letter from owners, Amy and Michael Recco.

Friends for Life is proud to have safely delivered these care packages to all of the seniors and their caregivers. It was a true reward seeing the smile on their faces once each bag was received.

The company’s aides and companions have been doing an amazing job, working around the clock, to ensure the safety of their clients. Some seniors are not as fortunate as others to live with family members during this time. So, the company of an aide and an extra bag of supplies, goes a long way.

Just like Friends for Life, there are plenty of things you can do to help seniors in your neighborhood.
