Friends for Life Takes Part in Annual Caregivers Conference
On Friday, November 15th, Friends for Life Homecare was a proud sponsor of the Alzheimer and Dementia of Long Island Conference at the Hilton in Melville.
The Conference was a great opportunity for seniors and caregivers to get information about senior health-related services. These resources included, in-home care, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals and many more.
Friends for Life was happy to offer helpful literature on Home care Services and Medicaid. Families were encouraged to take advantage of their FREE, monthly caregiver support groups. The team also offered their ears and hearts to those that may have just needed some emotional support.
This conference is such a gratifying event to take part in. It’s a wonderful place for families and caregivers to get some much needed information and advice!
