08 Nov Smiling Faces at The Oaks
On Tuesday, October 26th, Friends for Life Homecare hosted a luncheon and informational seminar in The Oaks at Broadlawn Manor, A Senior Living Complex.
The afternoon began with opening remarks from Friends for Life owner, Amy Recco, who greeted over 150 residents and staff. Amy discussed the various services that Friends for Life offers to the community, including Homecare and Medicaid expertise. Our Guest speaker was Brenda Lynch, Elder Care Attorney, who shared tips on Senior Planning and answered many questions from the group.
A delicious lunch was prepared by Broadway Gourmet which included a variety of sandwiches, side salads, and chips; followed by an array of baked desserts for all to enjoy. Each guest received a Friends for Life tote bag filled with informational packets, a pen, notepad, lip balm and candy.
The room was filled with smiling and grateful faces; all who were thrilled to be able to converse with friends and neighbors, after months and months of being isolated due to the pandemic.
Another successful outing, helping and providing service to our seniors who we love!
