Mason Maier has Completed his Mission at Cohen Children’s Medical Center
On Monday, November 18th, Friends for Life Homecare delivered all of our donated toys to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for Mighty Mason. The Friends for Life team was not at this alone. They arrived with super mom, Laura Maier, and Melanie Duffy, owner of Broadway Gourmet.
Mason is Laura Maier’s son. He was recently diagnosed with cancer but is fighting like the warrior he is.
This young warrior wanted to give back to the other children at the hospital by handing out toys. When the Friends for Life Team heard about his request, they knew they had to help. Friends for Life and Broadway Gourmet Caterers took on this mission with open arms.
Broadway Gourmet donated an amazing lunch for the nurses and doctors that work around the clock to keep these children happy and healthy.
Friends for Life was honored to help Mason complete his mission and they certainly could not have done it without the community. A BIG thank you to everyone who eagerly responded to this mission. They greatly appreciate everyone that took the time to be so generous to donate so many toys, games, and books. Everyone that walked through their door with donations has contributed to something wonderful and they admire your loving hearts.
Mason, continue to smile big and inspire those around you with your positivity and kindness.
