10 Jan Friends For Life Keeps On Giving…
December 2021, Friends for Life enjoyed being the Platinum Sponsor of The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Hanukkah Celebration; hosted by the Massapequa Chamber and the Town of Oyster Bay. For several weeks leading up to the event, our committee met, planned and organized all of the details that were beautifully executed on that evening! The celebratory festivities were held at Klestinec Park on Broadway in Massapequa, where the street was closed off so all could come to celebrate the activities planned for this special night.
Friends and families enjoyed song and dance from local Dance Studios and Schools, plus hot chocolate, and delicious cookies, compliments of Broadway Gourmet. Santa came all the way from the North Pole and surprised all, with photo opportunities as well as the Royal Princesses who made a special appearance that night.
Friends for Life prepared special goodie bags filled with yummy chocolates and candy canes which were given out by the Friends for Life Elves to all the kids who visited Santa.
We sincerely want to thank the Chamber for giving us the Platinum Sponsorship opportunity for this Holiday event. We had such an amazing time and plan to continue the tradition in the future!
