The Recco Family
Founded in 2010 in Massapequa by Amy and Michael Recco, Friends for Life Homecare was built on empathy and personal experience. Having supported their own parents at home, they understand the emotional and practical challenges families face, which shapes the thoughtful, hands-on approach of the entire team.
Today, Friends for Life is a dedicated support system focused on providing comfort, companionship, and guidance as families navigate the aging process. Every member of our team is committed to understanding your unique needs and going the extra mile to ensure your loved one feels safe, supported, and truly cared for.
A Message From Michael Recco
Friends for Life Homecare is built on a legacy that began in 1970, when my mother, Norma E. Recco, dedicated her life to helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. I had the privilege of working alongside her at Recco Homecare for over 40 years, where I learned that true quality comes from professionalism within a family atmosphere. When I founded Friends for Life in 2010, with my wife Amy, I carried that philosophy forward, creating a family-run organization dedicated to providing compassionate support, meaningful connection, and a trusted presence for families across Long Island.

Through her constant involvement and genuine care, she has helped shape Friends for Life into a trusted and meaningful presence in the community.
