27 May A Visit to Whitewood Landing Senior Living in Massapequa
On Wednesday, May 27th, Friends for Life Homecare donated 70 lunches to the Whitewood Landing Senior Living Complex.
The seniors in the living complex were thrilled when the Friends for Life team arrived with delicious bagged lunch from Broadway Gourmet. They also dropped off folders filled with helpful information for each resident.
The staff was so happy to see old friends, whether they are from the senior center or a current client. The team also made some new Friends for Life.
After 3 grueling months of staying in doors, the residents were grateful to come out, say hello and receive a fresh lunch. Friends for Life Homecare is thankful they are able to donate and help the community during this time.
During the pandemic, Friends for Life Homecare has donated massive amounts of food to Assisted Livings, Rehabilitation centers, Nursing Homes and now Senior Living Complex. They will continue to support their senior communities until the return to normalcy. Their mission will always be to make sure the senior community is protected and healthy.
